                                                                                   Ian Waddell

                                                                             Company Manager

Ian has been a successful business owner and manager for over 30 years in the area of Logistics and Transportation. Ian has always had a keen interest in Health and Safety, and he has previously worked in the Coal Mining industry as a Manager of Coal production and haulage. Following further studies in the field of WHS and health surveillance he has worked as a Safety Officer on a large Metalliferous Mine in NSW. Ian actively participates in health screening assessments at Safety In Focus, especially with larger contracts where the whole Safety In Focus team are required and the health screening unit is required to go on a worksite.  Ian is a keen motor bike and cycling enthusiast and he also likes to socialise with friends and enjoys travelling in Australia and oversees.

                                                                              Emmy Baert

                                                                        Occupational Therapist     

Emmy is our Occupational Therapist at Logistics Health who specializes in early intervention, Autism, Elderly Care and Home Modifications. Emmy is a university trained Occupational Therapist, and has also obtained a Diploma in Architectural Design. Emmy grew up in a small community in Belgium, but relocated to Australia over a year ago to chase her dreams. During the last 2 years Emmy has traveled extensively, gaining different skills and knowledge, which assist her in providing the best possible service to our clients in the North West NSW Region. Emmy has a well established client base in the Moree, Inverell, Coonabarabran and Narrabri areas. It is Emmy's love of travelling that keeps her providing outreach services to her clients.  Emmy is passionate about making a difference. She also enjoys music, the arts as well as road cycling.

                                                                             Joris van der Heijden

                                                                               Health Technician

Joris is one of the Health Technicians at Safety in Focus, he is responsible for the pre-employment assessments and onsite drug testing. Joris is originally from the Netherlands, but came to Narrabri to chase his dream of flying. Joris is also a flight instructor which helps him with health assessments, because precision is key for both aspects of his job. Joris started working for us at the beginning of 2015, and has been travelling by car and plane long distances for drug testing in the North West region.

                                                                                 Melissa Cain

                                                                         Administration Coordinator

Melissa is our Administration Coordinator at Safety in Focus, she is responsible for the managing of all office administration, accounts and also helps with the assessment of pre-employment medicals. Melissa grew up on a wheat and cattle property just outside of Narrabri. Since finishing school she has been working in the employment and training sector in Brisbane having over 7 years experience in the industry. Melissa has gained her diploma in Human Resource Management and Diploma in Workplace, Health and Safety. Melissa started working with Safety in focus in August 2015 since moving back to NSW. Melissa loves to travel and likes any water sport including skiing, wakeboarding and open water diving.
