Meredith Chapman 

Founder, Company Manager, WHS Advisor & PhD Candidate

Meredith is one of the Founders of Logistics Health Pty Ltd, trading as Safety In Focus. Meredith has extensive Workplace Health and Safety knowledge, business skills and is currently developing a world-renowned portfolio as an Academic. Many of Meredith’s clients include but are not limited to; Mining (Metaliferous and Coal), Agriculture, Construction, Transport, Councils, Health Services, Government Authorities, Small business and media identities such as ‘Better Homes and Gardens’. Meredith has completed four Post-graduate degrees encompassing Health, Safety and Rehabilitation and now in her final years of completing a Doctorate in Human Health and Social Science (Research) through Central Queensland University. Meredith has also been awarded membership with the Golden Key International Honour Society as being one of the top 15-percent for her academic achievements.

Meredith is a keen equestrian and breeder of performance horses (38 years), loves riding, enjoys staying healthy, travelling and spending time with her family and friends.

Ian Waddell

Company Director & Health Technician

Ian has always had a keen interest in personal health and wellness and he enjoys helping others achieve optimal health. Ian has completed studies in Workplace Health & Safety and training in undertaking physiological health screening assessments. Ian is an integral team-member and leader in delivering on-site medicals and health monitoring services to clients in metropolitan and rural areas. Ian enjoys working with clients on an operational level and has gained respect from clients due to his professional abilities and simplified explanations of on-site workplace health and safety operations.

Prior to joining Logistics Health in 2009, Ian owned and operated a logistics company for over 30 years.

Ian enjoys keeping fit and healthy and is a keen motorbike rider and cycling enthusiast.

Dayle Gillard 

Administration Coordinator & Manager

With over 30 years’ experience in Business Management and Administration from the services and retail industries, Dayle exceeds our clients’ expectations every time. Dayle’s exceptional organisational skills, innovative approach to problem solving and customer service help her build strong, ongoing relationships with our clients.  
Dayle is a married mother of three, a grandmother to seven and has a Business Management degree from the University of New England.

Emmy Baert

Occupational Therapist

Emmy is our senior Occupational Therapist at Logistics Health specialising in early intervention, Autism, Elderly Care and Home Modifications. Emmy’s love of travel and passion for making a difference has helped her develop local knowledge and a strong client base aross the North West region NSW, including Moree, Inverell, Coonabarabran and Narrabri. Emmy is a university trained Occupational Therapist and also holds a Diploma in Architectural Design.

Emmy grew up in a small community in Belgium and relocated to Australia over a year ago to chase her dreams. She enjoys music, the arts as well as road cycling.

Clare Johnson

Occupational Therapist

Clare has recently graduated as an Occupational Therapist from La Trobe University (Australia). Clare and her family lived in Narrabri during some of her school years, hence her keen interest in working as an OT in rural and regional Australia. Clare has joined our allied health team in 2019 and we are pleased to work with her as she develops her interests and speciality areas as a professional OT. Clare has a delightful manner, is kind, courteous and she is engaging her client base within the North-West region of NSW.
Clare has travelled oversees, enjoys reading and spending time with her friends from Narrabri.

Alex Mason

Administration Officer

Alex recently joined the team with 4 years’ experience in administration, primarily working in the Agricultural industry. Alex presents as a professional team-member and is usually our customers’ first contact point. Alex has great organisational and time management skills, enabling her to complete all tasks promptly and efficiently.
Alex relocated to Narrabri from England 7 years ago (traveling as a backpacker) and has recently married.

Georgia Lyons

Registered Nurse & Health Technician

Georgia graduated as Registered Nurse in 2011 and continued her professional career by studying a Graduate Diploma in Nursing Specialisation. She has worked extensively in rural and regional Australia in Emergency and the mental health sector. Georgia is passionate about bridging the gap in healthcare accessibility for mental health to support country communities and closing the gap for our Indigenous populations. Georgia completed studies in Social Change and Development through Newcastle University, and has also volunteered overseas addressing the health care needs of developing countries. Georgia also works with the Logistics Health team on a casual basis as a Health Technician and she is keen to further training in this field of work.
Georgia is a mother of one and understands the challenges in balancing work and home-life. Georgia enjoys socialising and supporting her friends.

Adam Ferris

Health Technician

Adam started his career as a qualified Paramedic with NSW Ambulance Service in 2010. In addition Adam has also worked casually as a Health Technician for Logistics Health conducting on-site drug & alcohol testing and other health assessments. Adam is currently studying Exercise Physiology, and aims to work in the field of cardiovascular and neurological rehabilitation in the future. Adam understands the impact of occupational exposures on personal health and wellbeing and he has a keen professional interests in fatigue and health management for shift workers. Adam is associated with Backpacker Medics – Disaster Relief Group and he has volunteered in regional clinics in Nepal focusing on primary health education and emergency response training.
Adam enjoys having friends over for a BBQ and spending time with his family.
