Meredith Chapman 

Founder, Company Manager, WHS Advisor & PhD Candidate

Meredith is one of the Founders of Logistics Health Pty Ltd, trading as Safety In Focus. Meredith has extensive Workplace Health and Safety knowledge, business skills and is currently developing a world-renowned portfolio as an Academic. Many of Meredith’s clients include but are not limited to; Mining (Metaliferous and Coal), Agriculture, Construction, Transport, Councils, Health Services, Government Authorities, Small business and media identities such as ‘Better Homes and Gardens’. Meredith has completed four Post-graduate degrees encompassing Health, Safety and Rehabilitation and now in her final years of completing a Doctorate in Human Health and Social Science (Research) through Central Queensland University. Meredith has also been awarded membership with the Golden Key International Honour Society as being one of the top 15-percent for her academic achievements.

Meredith is a keen equestrian and breeder of performance horses (38 years), loves riding, enjoys staying healthy, travelling and spending time with her family and friends.

Ian Waddell

Company Director & Health Technician

Ian has always had a keen interest in personal health and wellness and he enjoys helping others achieve optimal health. Ian has completed studies in Workplace Health & Safety and training in undertaking physiological health screening assessments. Ian is an integral team-member and leader in delivering on-site medicals and health monitoring services to clients in metropolitan and rural areas. Ian enjoys working with clients on an operational level and has gained respect from clients due to his professional abilities and simplified explanations of on-site workplace health and safety operations.

Prior to joining Logistics Health in 2009, Ian owned and operated a logistics company for over 30 years.

Ian enjoys keeping fit and healthy and is a keen motorbike rider and cycling enthusiast.

Dayle Gillard 

Operations Manager

With over 30 years’ experience in Business Management and Administration from the services and retail industries, Dayle exceeds our clients’ expectations every time. Dayle’s exceptional organisational skills, innovative approach to problem solving and customer service help her build strong, ongoing relationships with our clients.  
Dayle is a married mother of three, a grandmother to seven and has a Business Management degree from the University of New England.

Taylah Cook

Health Technician Coordinator

Taylah is a vibrant young lady that embraces learning and new challenges. She has been raised in Narrabri and has many local connections and enjoys living in rural NSW.
Taylah has worked as a Dental Assistant for a number of years and joined Safety In Focus just on 2 years ago. She is an integral part of the team, and recently she has been promoted to HT Manager due to her capabilities, work ethic and interest is team leading.
Taylah loves her country lifestyle, her sausage dog family and other pets.

Charlee Waterford

Exercise Physiologist/Physio

Charlee is the newest team member to join Safety in Focus after graduating from Charles Sturt University in 2019 with a Bachelor of exercise and sport science. Charlees interests include supporting people to have a healthy lifestyle, with a strong interest in promoting women’s health
Charlee lives on a farm in Boggabri with her partner and she enjoys hanging out with her dogs, playing netball and squash in her free time.

Diana Nichols

Registered Nurse

Diana is a registered Nurse with extensive years of experience as a RN in Intensive and Coronary care, primarily in Tamworth NSW. Diana has a wealth of experience in health monitoring and pre-employment assessments having formed part of a team completing industry specific medicals e.g. cotton, mining and council etc.)
Diana is passionate about her baby poodles and just loves relaxing in her garden.
Diana is a leader in Order 43 coal board medical, having attained all of the industry specific credentials.

Adam Ferris

Health Technician

Adam started his career as a qualified Paramedic with NSW Ambulance Service in 2010. In addition Adam has also worked casually as a Health Technician for Logistics Health conducting on-site drug & alcohol testing and other health assessments. Adam is currently studying Exercise Physiology, and aims to work in the field of cardiovascular and neurological rehabilitation in the future. Adam understands the impact of occupational exposures on personal health and wellbeing and he has a keen professional interests in fatigue and health management for shift workers. Adam is associated with Backpacker Medics – Disaster Relief Group and he has volunteered in regional clinics in Nepal focusing on primary health education and emergency response training.
Adam enjoys having friends over for a BBQ and spending time with his family.

Claudia Williams 

Administration Officer

Claudia is one of the newest members of the SIF team, she has a young bubbly personality and always greets you with a smile. Claudia has grown up on the coast and now lives in Narrabri on her family’s rural property
After graduating from Year 12, Claudia worked in aged care expanding her knowledge in healthcare before joining the team at Safety in focus. Claudia enjoys living the rural lifestyle and loves travelling and competing her horses in her spare time.
